It does have a video ad that opens once every game session, but as I always tell the good people of makegamessa, if you use airplane mode they wont bother you :) But then you cant post your high score. Criticism is always welcome!
I have some games out there. Releasing one every month, available on Android, Windows Phone and iOS :) ... Cross platform development like a bauws.
Anyways, here's a link to my most recent game. Shapezz. I must warn you it's challenging at first :)
And then there is also PLOPPP. Then android version is not as good as the iOS and Windows Phone version because I was still using libgdx at that time. And creating custom animations in libgdx is not as easy as in cocos2dx. Will update the android version next week with better and smoother animations :) ...
@konman thanks for the warm welcome :), Im a developer with 5 years programming experience and now I wanna get into game development, but its so hard to find designers out there...
Unity is a fantastic tool, but I used gamemaker studio for Broken-skies. Mostly because this was the first platform that I learned and I am not actually a developer as such and I picked up Gamemaker pretty easily. Some people will say Unity is better and others will say that Gamemaker is better, I would advise that you find the tools that you are comfortable with and start there. This is a great forum for finding great designers!
None of mine on Android yet, but Dead Run would hopefully be... Sooner than later :)
Welcome and definitely join us at our meetups, we have plenty of people all wanting to do something - being a programmer, don't start with design (unless you mean game design), just make prototypes with the dumbest graphics you can - show people your ideas in action - prototypes are *the* best way to attract talented people to join you! :)
@Tuism@Pillar_Of_Autumn Thanks guys, I'll go for Unity and start with 2d games. Its so hard to find game developers in SA, most people are only into web development and desktop systems. THIS IS HOME! Ill come to your next meetup
