Hint Hunt Live Game

edited in General
Hi Awesome People!

This past Friday I went to a team event with the company I work at. Even though this might seem pointless to you guys I thought that it was really worth sharing what we did.

The company we went to is called Hint Hunt. What you basically do is enter a room and you have to get out of the room in under 60mins by solving a bunch of puzzles. It's very interactive and works best when in a team. You have to follow clues, look crawl under furniture, solve "riddles" and figure out passwords. Everything you typically expect of video games.

Currently the record is somewhere around 53mins (only 7mins less than given time). I found it quite refreshing and fun to do a game like this. Since everyone's a gamer here, you should definitely go and give it a try. Unfortunately it's Cape Town only. If you've already done it, then post your experience here :)

  • Ahem... Always pays to search if you're talking about an event ;)

Hint Hunt was good fun though, we had some problems with a couple of the locks and hardware when we did it though, so the facilitator had to keep passing us skeleton keys and backup hardware. Was a little annoying because we kept abandoning solutions that were actually correct due to stuff not working right.

Ag balls, feel free to delete this thread mods. When did you go? When I was there it all ran quite smoothly which was nice. They are currently building a new room (Japanese room), which will be 30% harder than the John Monroe rooms.
