Zombie Warfare - WP8
We have just completed our new game for Windows Phone 8 called Zombie Warfare, it's a wave based defence game with the same game mechanics as our Avatar Onslaught Xbox 360 game.
If you have a WP8 device and want to help test please let us know your live email address so we can add you to the beta list.
Thanks,
ED

Any feedback is welcome.
Keen.
- The camera behind the player could be higher up giving a better perspective of how far the enemies are (especially since bullet shooting distance is something a player needs to judge for themselves)
- Are there different types of zombies? I played a few waves and apart from the move speed it felt like they were all the same. You could also consider instead of spawning all the zombies in one long line you could spawn a few at a time over time?
- I have thoughts about the sound and music, but I will need to do more testing to give feedback on that.
In terms of the platform my major ask is that you don't have an "Exit" button. The hardware back button is available (keycode = Escape in Unity) for that, if you are at the menu you can press the back button to quit rather.
Some screenshots I took on my device for those that want to see what this looks like and get a better idea of what I am talking about.
we have a total of 4 unique zombies that perform different types of things (like runners, and boulder throwers that destroy walls etc.)
And in the later waves they do spawn in more than just the first line.
Thanks for the advice about the exit button...
I'm so used to making games for Xbox that it just felt natural to have it there, will remove it and use the Back button only.
I can test on a 620, 920, 1020, and 1520.
I submitted to Microsoft and within 30 minutes it was approved and is already available to download:

We built it for Android as well but then we found out you cannot setup a Merchant Account from South Africa. So we can't offer IAP. We might still release it at a later date but using Adverts as a revenue stream instead (not our first choice)
Our other app Zombie Voice Box is currently 6th in the UK and 8th in the USA under the "Classics" category.
Looking forward to releasing our new game later this week.
