Getting Unity Webplayer to connect to profiler...

Has anyone managed this? Do I have to do anything special? Am I getting boned because I'm running Unity 3.5.7 and the web player is newer than that?

I seem to recall getting this to happen once before, but it would connect for exactly one frame before the crash that I was hunting for nuked everything at that point, so I gave up on the profiler for that problem. I have a new problem that's making the game crash in the web player and ONLY in the web player, runs fine in editor as both stand-alone and web player versions. Annoying as hell, thought I'd closed a significant material overhead problem too...

    If it's only happening in web player could it have anything to with illicit dll plugins or anything like that? I presume not seeing as you've been targeting web player for ages now. And well it's running up until a crash - assuming this is some kind of performance out of memory error if you're using the profiler? Haven't had to debug a web player for ages, so afraid I can't be of much use...
