Who's participating this year? I have been in 4 Ludum Dares so far; two solo, two jams. I highly recommend it - the best way to learn about making games, is to make games. And having an absurd deadline makes it all the more fun!

Are there any venues etc. being organised? I could *try* get a venue at UCT if we have enough interest? Else we could go to code-bridge again? Is there a venue for Jo-burg? Is everyone burnt out after the 7dfps/competition D? Have I asked enough questions?

The Jam looks like fun, I doubt I could enter Indie Speed run and ludumadare. Any insights into the pro's and cons of each would be appreciated.

I've heard that there's usually a group that get together at UCT over the LD weekend, don't know details though :(

Here's @Luctastic and I's submission - it's really simple and stripped down as we made everything in about half a day -_-. Would have enjoyed to spend some more time on it as currently quite pointless and shallow :/.

SMS Racing. You have 10 seconds to reply to SMS messages you get while racing around a track. What a fucking awesome teaching concept!
