This articles just really opened my eyes as to the way we analyse and interpret games. I found it extremely interesting. It starts a bit dry but give get to the end and I promise it's worth it.

    The whole of The Video Game Theory Reader (1 and 2) by Wolf and Perron is worth it (they are in the Wits library if you want to look them up)
    Frasca has also published more widely in the area. If you enjoyed that, you should look up some of Henry Jenkins' work.

    Yeah, I have read a couple of Frasca articles and they are great. Ya I found that articles in The Video Game Theory Reader...just found an online link to share with everyone :D Really awesome set of articles.!
