Is there an IRC Channel that y'all hang out on?

    What do others think of IRC? I'm struggling at the moment to get stuff done in a day and follow 400 message + Skype conversations that happen overnight. But a IRC channel still sounds like a cool idea... (though I like the permanence of a forum better and the conciseness it encourages).

    I wouldn't use an IRC channel. Too much interruption/argument potential. Twitter and a forum are good enough for me :)

    I sometimes lurk on a tech art IRC channel for Q&A and support, but for the most part I find group chats to be high on noise, and stick to private IMs and forums.

    I usually forget I have a Twitter account unless I get one of those notification mails. :P

    I'm bringing this thread back from the dead, because I also want an IRC channel. They're fantastic as a passive community - you just stay logged in and read whatever you want to read.

    Has anything changed since June 2013? Is there a #mgsa channel anywhere?
