Anyone Experienced With Unity+Mapbox for World Scale AR?

Hi all!

I'm looking for a means to spawn a GameObject/prefab at a certain latitude and longitude in the real world using AR and Mapbox but I cannot find any specific documentation or help other than a $73 plugin that does exactly that ( am poor :-( )
I KNOW this is possible but I just cannot wrap my head around it at the moment. I managed to get my Abstract Map workign with custom datas-ets and points but now this is my main concern.

Mapbox even has a "WorldScaleAR" example scene but it's just not giving me any real direction...

It's for a client of mine and I'm just trying to get a demo out.

Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated!

    Managed to get something working using custom POIs using longitude and latitude coordinates - and the ar objects show up fine.. It's just that the accuracy is wayyyyyyy off sometimes and sometimes not so much (but more often than not..)
