MOAI framework

I was wondering if any here one has used the MOAI framework before?

It is a Lua based cross platform mobile development framework.

    One of the multitude of Lua frameworks out there. I've not used it but seen the advantages touted that it gives you low level access if you need. However at the expense of ease of use.

    Other options include CoronaSDK (I'm not a fan, but mostly because I've used it and I don't like lua), Loom (well kinda, it uses it's own much better language on top of lua), Cocos2d-x (I think is lua?).

    Viability of any of these as a platform depends on your needs and your experience with the technology/in general :) I find lua very limiting when used on larger projects. But for small physics based casual apps its pretty great.
