Submission forms are here!
I'm going to actually email the GGJ contact list and encourage people to enter what they made, as well as try and encourage the vega first years to take the trip. So worth it :)
For the event in September, I will need a Sign Language interpreter. Hope it won't be a problem to bring one along. I need to know more about how to develop games as I want to have games in Sign Language for mobile phones
We're hoping to have the final programme together by absolute latest, end of July! :)
Why is everything in Euros? Because it's a high quality festival! (Not really - that's not the reason)
Sorry for the delays! I know we said the programme would be out by now! But we had an unexpected delay or two! Will be coming soon!
Here's a sneak peak of one guest:
Videogame vignette poet, Nina Freeman is one of our (many) international guests this year!
Took us so long because we had to fit in so much awesome, and there's still more coming :P.
Can we share this publicly? Would be nice as a final push to bring people through!
And I've got an excuse to play Valiant Hearts finally :)
This speakers list makes it super easy to recommend A MAZE this year.
@EvanGreenwood I played it by mistake and it really hit me by surprise how good it was. It's one of those games that can cause the feels in just about anyone.
@BenJets Yes it's on the website, so you can go ahead on share it!
The programme is online now too!
The games exhibition is online as well!
We're pretty lucky to be bringing the unique and wonderfual VinylOS as part of the exhibition!
There's a lot of great stuff in the exhibition this year too!
And to @Bensonance and other organizers, you guys did a great job! It was my first A MAZE, but will definitely be coming to the next ones.

The festival got some nice international press too this year.
- Indiegames.com: "A MAZE Johannesburg - A Celebration Of Experimental Games In Africa & Beyond"
- Venturebeat/Gamesbeat: "How the A Maze Festival in Johannesburg showcased Africa’s indie game scene"
I only sent emails to those my contacts at those two outlets, so it's possible we can get even more international eyes on the festival in future.
