Google Site Search Discontinued - Might affect MGSA Search

Saw this article and thought that it will probably be affecting MGSA website as it uses the google site search?

    Don't worry, they will find an alternative. There are a lot of alternatives to choose from (ours being one of them https://www.cludo.com).

    Huh, didn't realize that there was a paid-for version of this. Anyway, surely this forums built-in search will be better? The current google one has always been a bit weird.

    I remember our using the Google one because of how the built-in search didn't actually seem to be returning hits for things it absolutely should have been finding. :/

    I don't know if somehow some sort of search cache got garbled at some point, or what the cause was otherwise. :/
