Marketing Co-Ordinator/Personal Assistant: Overview
Sea Monster is looking for a Marketing Co-ordinator/Personal Assistant to the MD to help us grow our business and strategically position our digital services and products globally. Our core markets are large corporates, ad & digital agencies and end users, both in South Africa and around the world.
This is a multi-faceted role and the ideal candidate is a dynamic, passionate and motivated marketing and social media professional with 1 to 2 years experience. You should have good strategic marketing insight, and a passion for animation, games and media will help. You should also have a tertiary marketing qualification.
You will work closely with the entire team, and be exposed to all aspects of the creative, technical and business process. You will have full responsibility for planning, managing and implementing all marketing efforts, and could also manage some key clients, and support the selling effort generally.
The key deliverables for this role include:
• Drawing up a marketing plan and implementation schedule
• Co-ordinating the creation of all marketing and sales support collateral
• Managing Sea Monster’s social media channels
• Writing regular blog posts, articles and other content
• Assisting with new business development and client management
• Marketing Sea Monster’s projects as they are launched
• Lead generation and strategic selling
• Researching and entering Sea Monster into key industry events, conference and awards both locally and internationally.
• Managing the MD’s calendar, travel schedule and attending to occasional personal errands and requests.
• Office Management and reception tasks such as managing office supplies and consumables, answering the phone and greeting guests at reception.
