Finally managed to get a website together... We have now got over 350 members.

Effectively it categorizes ZAGD into

Events, Photos, Video, Status etc..

Android app will soon be available on play store

    Not sure if you're looking for feedback. It looks like this website links to a different facebook page (it doesn't link to the South African Game Developers group). Seems like keeping everything in two places would be better than three?

    Whoa, yeah, that's a compelling argument for the job posts here being curated (at least to get rid the unrelated ones).

    Though there are a few game development jobs posted in amongst that... So Make Games is missing out on some job posts :/

    Although having said that, it's unclear whether these are actual game jobs (because gambling companies tend to obfuscate what the jobs they are offering are, and these jobs seem to be through an agency where the actual employer is hidden)...

    [Edit] In fact these definitely seem to be gambling jobs. That's 13 gambling job posts in the last 5 days.

    Yeah, I went through them all out of curiosity, and every single one of them (18 of 18) was either gambling or general software development. (Or, at least, if they weren't software dev, they didn't say anything about being game dev in their job descriptions, which I think would be rather silly if you were looking for game developers.)

    I think they were pretty much all recruiters too though, which I think is the main thing we want to curate against.

    I didn't realize there was a job section as I didn't know you could scroll the menu.

    Taken on my phone. Maybe bundle Photos, Videos & Links into a submenu under a single main menu item like Media to limit the number of main menu items.

    It does actually :) It links to several different sources... The idea is to open up as many feeds as possible... If anybody has a twitter feed or youtube channel, please let me know because I would like to integrate... Please message me privately if possible... MGSA & BLAM JAM feeds are already available :)

    Would anybody like me to re-release the popular articles, such as letter from Danny or ZAGD on IESA etc..?

    There is also some old forum content, that I could add... In any event, it is an industry website, not a community website in the end...

    I terminated hosting several months ago, when I was asked to leave ZAGD, but I was called back by popular demand...However, I did not have enough free time to rebuild... This version is going to be superior to the last... I am focusing on the industry rather then a specific community... An asset store is coming very soon...a free one at that I might add.
