[Android] AreaZ is out now! Promo codes available for free download!
Hi there Community!
Another one of my projects that have been clogging up my brain for the past 2 years is finished and is available for download on the google play store. I have a fair amount of promo codes available that will allow you to download the game for free. Please feel free to inbox me, i would love it if some of you would give it a try. The support of communities is most definitely always needed!
In AreaZ, you play a soldier that is sent to the BioCorp facility to investigate and stop the spread of a virus that turns people into zombies. Armed with your up-gradable hazard suit and up to 6 different weapons, you will need to fight hoards of walking dead to get through the levels.
- 18 levels of zombie filled gore.
- 6 different weapons to collect and test.
- Loads of different zombies with varying difficulty to test you.
- Overcome obstacles within the levels to advance.
- Upgrade you character with skills like, fire rate, agility, speed etc.
- Discover hidden parts of the story via information scattered throughout the levels.
- Play enough to unlock achievements. This game is Google Play enabled.
I appreciate anyone taking the time to have a look at this. Please INBOX ME if you would like a code to download the game from the play store for free. I have quite a few left.

It was developed using Unity3D and the coding is actually a mix (about 50/50) Javascript and c#. Definately an advantage of Unity3D but requires a bit of extra code planning. Hell, i must have been like 11 or 12 and playing a Sid Meier(Cant remember which one?) , i realized that this was for me. Why play game when you can make them right? So it is a hobby i take very seriously, however some of the goals i would have are to get better at what i do, and improve on the way i make games. I have made money in the past. But its not near as much as it could or should be. I do want to make money, but i feel like without a marketing budget, it is damn near impossible, especially in a market place flooded with free games. Towards the end of the year i was thinking of leaving mobile and focusing on PC. Do any of you think it would be worth it? Do you think its easier to make money on steam?(Provided your game rocks obviously!)
Personally, the approach I'm going for is making as many games as possible, for 3 reasons: the more you make the better you get; you get more chances for a game to take off and go "viral"; and making more games is more fun :)
So my advice would be to try analyse the game you have now, by asking questions about things you're unsure of, or requesting specific feedback from places like this community; and then trying to incorporate that feedback into your process to make more games. I'd also strongly recommend making prototypes for future games and releasing them to places like this community to get some valuable feedback as early in the process as possible. Oh, and ask questions. Many questions. Be prepared to be asking the wrong questions (and don't worry about it!), but nonetheless those will always help you the most
