Looking for new Blender tutorials
Since I last looked at Blender a couple of years ago it's changed quite a bit but the tutorials I'm finding are for the old on.
Does anyone has some good tutorials for the new setup of Blender, including UV mapping and some simple animation?
Alternatively can anyone recommend a modeling package for building simple scenery?

dawate on MSDN made a series of videos "Guitar Matey" which is a fantastic start-to-finish on building, texturing, and animating a model using XSI mod tool.

Some of the tutorials require a subscription, but there are plenty of awesome free ones.
[edit] There are also some great Unity tutorials.

Thanks for the CGCookie link, some of the videos were useful particularly Tip: Using the Knife Modeling Tool in Blender and Shoe Modeling in Blender – Part 01 because they show the keys they use and you can gleam some more functionality than the video's focus.
Otherwise I found this cheatsheet useful. It's for 2.5 but I haven't found a function I can't do yet (not that I'm using the full capacity of Blender).
Finally, thanks to @Gazza_N for showing me how to do UV modelling when he was last in SA. I couldn't remember the specifics but I found my way soon enough and I couldn't have done it without his help.
FYI, the modelling I'm doing is basic stuff to get Cute Thief going.
I'm finding the manual more useful than any of the tutorials I've watched so far, apart from the rigify tutorials I've found on YouTube.
