Does someone have an extra Mac i can borrow ?

Hello there,

I have been working on this project for a client for a while now and it is ready to be released. The problem is that I don't have a Mac, so I cant run xcode to build the unity project. I was wondering if someone here might have a Mac that they aren't using that I could borrow for a week. I live in Potchefstroom so Durban or CT is too far to travel.

If someone wants to sell their Mac I would be interested in that too.

    You can use a virtual machine to run Mac OS on your computer. You can download it here. But you'll need to buy Mac OS from a shop or online. Still it's much cheaper than buying a Mac. I used it a while ago to deploy an IPA to iTunes Connect.

    Have you tried Unity's cloud build options? It's not the best if you're trying to get to grips with Xcode (ugh) and figure out what else is going wrong in your game on the various Mac platforms, but it should at least let you build and squirt the game to a device or two.

    I got myself a little mac-mini off gumtree for this exact purpose. It builds really slowly, but I don't really care since I'm not sitting in front of it, in fact it's just plugged into my TV in the lounge and I remote connect to it to "do stuff" and if I'm bored enough I can switch the TV to show what's going on while in the lounge.

    If memory serves it only cost me a couple of grand and paid for itself many times over - especially if you're planning to do this kind of thing a lot ;)
