[Event] JHB Community meet {pending dates/actual event}

Hi guys,

how many people can make it for a meet in December (in JHB), most likely on 11 Dec 2012), I need to reply to Microsoft by the 30th November.

Can I suggest instead of a traditional meet, let's gather as a social at a pub or restaurant somewhere close by. No talks or presentations (but feel free to bring toys and games) just a time to eat and be merry.

Right, so we've established that we are going to play us some games instead of the usual meet(right?). Might I enquire as to where we will be doing said activities? I don't know the area at all, so I can't make any suggestions.

Like I said I'm keen, as for venue I have an idea - I heard of a BOARD GAME CAFE in Northcliff called Amuse Cafe, while they're obviously more mainstream gamers, having a venue that caters to board games means they'll have big tables and seating to suit. Sounds good, what do you guys think?

From what I can see Tuesdays are *their* games night, do they allow other people to bring their own games?

Such a pity that Jacob's Cafe in Parkhurst is no more. They had these games evenings with free coffee. It was awesome!
