Anyone out there skilled at using meshmixer? Help needed!

I use zbrush to make models for 3d printing and meshmixer to make them ready for the person who does the printing, while some of the models have worked others now give me problems. Some of the models parts turn magenta in meshmixer and when you use the mesh inspector button to fix the errors it deletes the parts that are magenta, when I make these models some of them are made up of more than one part but I always merge them into one before opening them up in meshmixer and yet I still get this issue, could someone please help?

Have you checked to see if the mesh does not maybe have extra or unjoined verts or edges floating around. Or perhaps you need to flip the normals... also, in Blender there is a modifier called 'remesh'. This irons out any mesh problems and is good for preparing a model for 3d printing.
