Jungle Beat - Now live!
Our newest game for Jungle Beat went live today! It's a mobile puzzle platformer, using the characters from our TV series, season 3 of which has just started airing on Boomerang in Europe. This is very much made for our target market of 5-11 year olds, but we've seen a lot of parent involvement and enjoyment with it too.

Are you going to be able to show that during the airing of the show at all?
Jungle Beat is part of Sunrise (where I work).
I came up with the initial idea and the general game design, and also managed the project. At Sunrise, we also did the sound, UI, comic book story elements and the overall story structure.
Our super fantastic development partners were the lovely people at RetroEpic. They pitched in with an enormous amount of ideas for additional mechanics, did the bulk of the level design, created all the assets (characters baked down from the ones we use in the series) and obviously did all the heavy lifting in terms of programming. We honestly couldn't have done it without them.
It was a really good, collaboration between our two teams, over about 18 months in total and we're incredibly proud of the final result.
Such fun :)
I now have my favourite character stuck on my PC :D Congrats on getting this out and getting all the press coverage! While I had little to no input into this project, I know that we're all proud of it and working with Sunrise is always an absolute pleasure.
