Looking for a possible internship in legal related area of game development and publishing
So I'm currently interning at the Entertainment Software Association in Washington DC as a Federal Government Affairs Intern. I'm currently a third year law student at the University of Pretoria and very interested in patent, trademark and content protection law.
I would love to continue in the field of game development and publishing. South Africa's gaming industry is growing at such an amazing pace, and I would love to remain part of it.

Sweet how did you manage to organise that intership?
If you're interested in Trade Mark and Patent Stuff (though be aware that patents won't apply to gaming here) I'd look at Adams and Adams or Norton Rose, they handle most of the IP stuff for the big publishers and providers here in SA.
If you are interested in content protection generally, look at maybe SAFACT or the BSA (though neither of these look specifically into games). Sterkinekor or Megarom may have something, but I'm not sure how much in house legal they do.
If you don't mind not being paid anything and working remotely, you're more than welcome to assist me with my policy work that I do for Make Games. Currently I am drafting a submission against the new Films and Publications Board online content policy.
