Game Development/Academics from New York

Hi there peeps!

I am travelling to NY for a couple of weeks from Friday and I want to make an effort to try meet with either companies from there or even academics from that side of the world who deal with video games.

I have mailed the university and done some googling but I thought I'd ask the community if they knew of anywhere specific or anyone I could make contact with.

Any tips or pointers will be appreciated. Thanks!

@Tim_Harbour I hope you meet some nerdy audiophiles! I would be very curious how they tackle game-audio/ their challenges/issues etc. Maybe you can try get some insight there? :D

@Mexicanopiumdog That is one of my aims! I have some connections with people involved more in the coding side of game audio who I am going to try meet while I am there. Amped! :D
