A: Companion cube

I love the companion cube because it didn't threaten to stab me... not even once. Also, since I'm new to pixel art I wanted to start with something easy. I'm curently working on a game that I need to make pixel art for so I reconed this is a good first step.
Any and all crit is welcome!

    looks good! Maybe just work on the contrast - get more contrast, or add a shadow under it, the colours are very pretty but a bit too light :) Well, depends on the environment you're gonna use this sprite in :)

    I know technology allows us to make everything way smaller these days but this is a bit unnecessary

    It looks good, and much more a part of the prime material plane now. ;)

    There's still a lot of (colour) room for potential shadows now, but I wouldn't say that adding them is quite as compulsory.
