I've always sorta liked the character, so I decided to base mine off him.
Not very far, still got plenty to go:

you're gonna have a hard time not making those two round plates look like boobs in pixels :) But good choice! Love Marcus. Brocus Fenix :)

Yeah like I was worried... The round chestplates are very prominently boob-like. I would suggest making them not as obvious. Or shift the focus to the yellow markings, or just make them as not obvious as possible.

The whole GOW universe I feel needs big chunky hands and feet, so your comparitively smaller hands (feet not that much but still kinda) is jarring against thte GOW thing. I guess it applies to the whole proportion thing - the bigger head makes the whole guy feel less buff and bulky.

The shading is very well done :)

Please make a 4x size version too, makes it not as squinty :)

Yeah I thought they still look flat and not too boob-like, can refine a bit later.
I struggle with stylizing features when I draw people, but i can take a crack at the hands and legs...

yeah definitely better :) less colours are sometimes best in pixel art for definition :)
