Who's interested? Blender Unconference
I've mentioned it before and I want organise it for May/June this year. Who's interested in participating in a Blender unconference?
Lots of us have toy/work with Blender but the recent Global Game Jam showed there are many features, tricks and processes that not everyone is aware of. I chose the unconference format so that everyone can share their knowledge and participate.
"Typically at an unconference, the agenda is created by the attendees at the beginning of the meeting. Anyone who wants to initiate a discussion on a topic can claim a time and a space. Unconferences typically feature open discussions rather than having a single speaker at the front of the room giving a talk, although any format is permitted. This form of conference is particularly useful when the attendees generally have a high level of expertise or knowledge in the field the conference convenes to discuss." - Wikipedia

Blender is absolutely my favourite piece of software out of anything that's ever been created :D Really hope I can come up if this happens...
Would you be looking at making this a weekend event? I do hope so, as I think Blender has such a wealth of features and functionality that a one-day event would not do it justice.
(and a few that are less useful for game making)
