The Music of Fez and Braid - Tim Harbour's MMus Research

edited in General
Hi there eveyone. I have been working on my MMus for the last two years and I am suitably behind in my progress (as to be expected). However I have mostly finished two chapter of my research, a chapter of Fez and one on Braid.

If anyone who like these games would possibly take the time to read my chapters and give me feedback or thoughts that would be really appreciated and help towards my final research.

  • Thanks MCA for letting me know! :D<div><br></div><div>dislekcia, grammer and typo stuff keeps popping up here and there but I hope you will agree it will happen <span style="font-size: 10pt;">when you are editing 7.5k word chapters :P. I will fix it though! :D Thanks!</span></div>
  • Found it all rather interesting - though TBH I've not played either game, but I looked up the music on YouTube for each for some sort of context. I'd be interested to know what kind of influence these, and other games, have had on the development of middleware like Wwise/FMOD for game music integration - it seemed like in both cases the developers did everything re music integration themselves from scratch?<div><div><br></div><div>A few typos/grammer issues, I forget which chapter but you say something like "…in the key of Am key…" too many keys in that sentence! But that's to be expected :-)</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
  • Thanks for the feedback MCA! That you find it interesting is great, and probably the most appropriate response :D Thanks so much for taking the time to read them! I am currently working on my Journey chapter but will go back and edit all these chapters for grammer/spelling etc. :D :D :D
