Have you considered trying out RPG maker or gamemaker so that you can make this game?

I haven’t considered them.
I considered the Corgi engine (Unity) because I’m familiar with Unity.
But it’s probably still a long while before I’m able to make this game.
Just got a strong urge to do pixel art at the moment :)

My commitments to other projects, especially the ones that pay them bills :)

I’m also still thinking about the overall game and story. Some of the mockups are parts of the story.
(So in essence I am working on it, just not at a speedy pace.)

I love the attention to detail in the art! Is it all going to stay black and white or will it be in colour like the first image posted? Depending on the theme, leaving it in black and white could create an interesting mood..
