YoYogames: annouced the beta launch of their own Game Portal
So yes it is finally here, Gamemaker Studio users will be able to upload for free and sell games (30% to YoYo)
Not really free if you want to sell, since you will need the paid versions of GMS Pro or Master...

It will basically support only linux and win os in the beta,
so basically just for people whom like steam.
At the moment their policy allows for South Africans to sell product for game dev assets on their marketplace,
so I believe it should be open to us to also actually sell games then on the player.
The market place if you want assets to help you make games in GMS is here, and there are already a few SA peeps selling stuff there
