Your input regarding Game Design training
Hi.
I'm the Marketing manager for the Academy of Sound Engineering in JHB. We are thinking of offering a Short Course in Fundamental Game Design. We are already accredited to offer Pro Tools 130 "Audio for Gaming" but our thinking is that the audio aspect alone might not be enough for someone who wants to start making games.
So what we were thinking so far is, coupling the Audio course with training in something like Game Maker or Unity. What would your thoughts be on that? Anyone here knowledgeable enough on those platforms to assist in the training?
Your input would be greatly appreciated.
