Slow InTernet, please help.

Hi all. I have recently decided to give game programing a shot. The tutorials and books I have seen suggest VS2010 and XNA. As I plan on going with C#. Problem is to download the programs. I assume they free since you can get them of Microsoft's site. Or so I'm told. Anyway. I can't download them because they are to big and bog down my internet till it just crashes. Can anybody give me these programs. And possibly anything else I will need on a disc or flash. I live in the Eastrand. Traveling between Primrose, Edenvale, Bedford and Benoni. So I can go to any surrounding areas if I need to.

If you can get to the Community Night this coming Tuesday you can get Unity3D which you can program in C# and already does a lot for you graphically.

Thanks. I will keep that in mind. But I really only Saturday nights and Sundays to do my travelling.

Firstly I wouldn't suggest starting with XNA, not only because they closed doors (http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/185894/Its_official_XNA_is_dead.php) but also other reasons.

I'm in Germiston/Alberton/All over JHB.
I've got most software you may need (Unity3D free & other free software) (no pirated shit) if you want it.

1. copy the username of the person you wanna PM
2. Go to Inbox at the top
3. Start conversation on the right
4. Paste username
5. ???
6. Profit :)

There's actually an easier way. Click the name of the person you want to PM, click "send whoever a message" to left, under the MGSA logo.

My bad. I use the site on my phone and it loads up a mobile version. Cant PM in the mobile version for some reason.
