afaik, after months of no gameplay prototype, Clash isn't in development any more. Dawid did, however, take his kickass art to work at Free Lives, where they pumped out work like Fists of Patience and Yokimbrawl, each in a weekend. :)
@Jurgen: You forgot to say "Kind regards, Jurgen".
@Jurgen I have started developing a game, wouldn't exactly call it a fighting game like SF, but it is 2d and you fight each other in a deathmatch type battle thing. Please check out my thread I just uploaded a playable prototype as well! :) @tuism posted the link to the thread. Thanks man!:) The download link is in the main post at the top. Happy times! :) I played Yojimbrawl that @Elyaradine mentioned and it is SO cool! Oozes style! Have an awesome day!!
Hi @karl182, I had a look at your game, played it, I like it :)
Are the characters linked to the final product? The reason I ask is that the "Lite Soldier" has a striking resemblance in movement to Megaman/Rockman from the old Nintendo series.
The style of the Ninja and the Lite soldier in how they are designed is different, will that change? Will they have a similar artistic style/ appearance? I had trouble with viewing the characters as combatants in the arena (which kept me interested) only on the level of how they relate to the arena. The characters in context to the arena both tell a different story, obviously, yet because of their difference in appearance, it felt like I was playing a combination of two games.
Otherwise, I am looking forward to the end result :D
@Elyaradine, Clash I think would've been great, from the bit I saw in the video @Tuism posted earlier. Yokimbrawl as you mentioned is pretty cool, wish there was a one player version. Thanks
@Jurgen Hi Jurgen! Thanks for checking it out! The soldier sprite is still a place holder i got online just to code with. so it will be replaced and fit more with the look of the ninja. also I'm not quite sure about the back story yet, but I'm sure I'll figure something out to explain why the would be fighting on a snowy mountain.:) Thanks so much for your feedback!! have an awesome day! Karl

It's going to be a brawler rather than a fighting game though, so I guess it wouldn't fit what Jurgen is looking for
