WotC VS Hex - A lawyer explains what it means
So lately WotC sued a card game Hex for basically copying Magic the Gathering.
Now I have no love for WotC who patented the fundamentally basic concept of tapping (which incidentally expires June 22 this year (June 22 will be International Tapping Day!! :D) - I think it should be an international public celebration :P), but it *looks* like a clone to my untrained and unresearched eye.
Though that doesn't matter: A certain Douglas Linn, lawyer person, wrote this up, and it was a great informative read:

(And here's the blog post from someone else that ran a comparison between Hex and MTG)

Kinda have to wonder why they went ahead with a game so similar, maybe the successful kickstarter had them believe they were in the o.k? As in MtG didnt come in halfway and say hey stop this now.
