Ubiart?

edited in Questions and Answers
Has anyone heard about this? I have just stumbled upon in today, although the game Rayman Origins has been out for awhile! I'm slow like that! But how cool would it be if we could get our hands on this software for us artists! Droooooool!

Ha, that's so cool. I loooooooove the art in Rayman Origins. I've played a little bit; wasn't so much fun because I was using a keyboard and the controls were a bit messy... but art and animation were so wonderfully executed! And the game design totally rocks. (And on that note, this is awesome.)

That's super cool, what's up with the French being so awesome! On that note, Gobelins l’école de l’image are going to be doing an animation workshop at kunjanimation.org I'm not sure if it's all booked up, but worth asking.
Even if it is there's always Judd Simantov's FREE workshop on rigging for games, both facial and body systems. No excuses, it's apparently happening on a Saturday, 17th of October, keep your eyes peeled on the Kunjanimation site for confirmation on the venue. Exciting times in South Africa!

  • Ha, wish I could go. I've gone to all of Judd's workshops here in Joburg, but he's yet to do one for rigging the body.
  • thanks for the links guys! That "kunjanimation" looks awsum. Will try get to that!

I am looking for software like that for my 2D animation. I have been using Flash, and I am over that! I like the idea that you can rig the different pieces with bone structure.
