    This fact freaks out project management so much that it actually takes someone with quite a lot of guts to say it. Don't hear it nearly often enough.

    Yip, But the budgets and clients don't care. And until we can do away with fixed cost development, we will have to keep trying to schedule programmers, even if it fails.
