Grade 10's game for change :)
Hi All,
I was just sent this by a grade 10 girl who is interested in games. She made a 'game for change' for her science project. It doesn't have much in terms of gameplay - more of a click through story with three platform-like 'minigames'. It's awfully cute, and well played for someone that young! I think it shows the great potential for kids to use games to learn (and teach). I will be encouraging her to follow her dreams of making games.
If you have a few minuets, give it a shot :)

While I was playing I was sitting there thinking "Hmmm, I wonder if she's heard or seen anything about EVOKE?" and then at the end the survey says it's taken from the similar EVOKE survey and in the credits it's inspired by EVOKE. Wow :) I worked on EVOKE years ago, so not only did I pass the game's link on Jane McGonigal, but I'm also more than willing to chat about building games for change and trying to get messages out via games if you're okay passing my email address on to this remarkable girl.
