Got this email just now.
Funny cause I was speaking to their sales yesterday.

100% Indie Closure

Dear Developer,

Thank you for your participation and support of Chillingo’s 100% Indie program. We are proud to have connected the industry’s most talented indie developers and their games with Samsung Apps.

Samsung is evaluating its storefront to ensure it provides consumers with the best experience possible. Therefore, we regretfully announce that the 100% Indie program will end on March 11, 2014.

All games that are currently live on the store will remain available for download.

Developers will receive 80% revenue from now through March 3, 2015 for their games. Revenue share will be net of any applicable payment gateway and/or carrier charges.

Chillingo values today’s thriving mobile game development community. If you are interested in learning more about our publishing services, please contact our Business Development Team.

If you have further questions about your games on Samsung Apps, you may contact our 100% Indie Sales Team or Samsung Apps Seller Support for further details.

Thank you again for your support of Chillingo’s 100% Indie program, we look forward to collaborating with Samsung on exciting new opportunities in the future.

Sincerely,
The 100% Indie Team

  • Yep got the same email... can't say I am really surprised though. Samsung devices get most of the downloads from Google Play. 100% Indie is an extra cog. A great idea that just fell short. I expect Chris Byatte also stepping down may have had an effect as well.
