[Hiring] Looking for a Unity developer to join our studio!

edited in Jobs
Sea Monster is looking for a Game Developer with generalist experience to join our team.

This position can take shape around the ideal candidate, who will compliment our team and work closely with our outsource development partners.

You should be highly proficient in Unity and ideally C# with knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 being a big advantage.

In addition to coding experience, it would be useful if you could help develop game specs, and manage game dev processes and partners. You should be inspired to create libraries and re-usable assets, as we are creating platforms and data driven solutions. On the other hand you also need to be able to hack together code for quick turn-around projects and proof of concepts.

You should be able to manage other people, as well as your own time, and will work with a close-knit, happy core team. Our projects are typically deployed on mobile and web, as well as more innovative touch and gesture based systems.

Sea Monster makes games and augmented reality solutions for other people, and also develops our own IP. We do this to entertain, build brands and drive learning for companies and individuals around the world.

We are committed to developing the South African gaming and animation industry, are passionate about creativity in Africa, and believe that we can create innovative content and experiences that can make an impact globally. We’d love for you to join us on our journey of discovery.

Salary and other forms of remuneration are negotiable based on experience, and the value you bring, and that we can create together.

To apply, please email hello@seamonster.co.za with a brief paragraph about yourself and a short (2page) CV.
