Gamershell?

edited in General
I hope someone here might have some insight into gamershell.com. So somehow they have the old version of Toxic Bunny the one sold in Europe on there site. It jumped in rank yesterday from 17712 to 14. No serious spike in web traffic.

I guess the main question really is, whats gamershell any knowledge you guys could share would be appreciated.

Thanks

**EDIT** looks like there ranking changed again, none the less am curious what gamershell is.

  • The only time I've ever used gamershell is to download files. It existed way back when sites like planetquake.com and fileplanet.com were still active.
  • It looks like a news/hosting aggregator. If they're hosting a file of yours that isn't in the public domain or that they don't own distribution rights for, inform them and they will have to remove it.

If they're not telling you how their ranking system works, then it might as well be random numbers popping up new games every once in a while. I doubt it's important or meaningful. I'd be far more concerned with them hosting something they shouldn't.
  • I have sent countless emails to have the game removed from so called abandon-ware sites etc. Each time they remove it and two weeks later a new site pops up. Toxic Bunny is been pirated all over the place right now. Not sure how to control it and even less sure it would help sales if I did. Was mostly interested in the ranking stuff, always want to track down major web events and spikes.
  • As far as I can tell there's no files related to the entry on their site:
