I recently completed the Video Games & Learning course on coursera. Very interesting although the lecturers did wonder off in some of their talks into their own personal areas of interest in research (linguistics, for example). Happy to share a summary - once I've written one up if anyone is interested - particularly on the 13 principles that were outlined.
I really didn't know were to ask this but would it be cool to make games that capitalize on other people's habits? Like smoking games. I know its a bit over the top but it could be a cool experiment, implementing would be difficult but i can think of general ways. Like trying to light your cigarette in a challenging manner or pulling it from a difficult angle. It promotes a bad habit yes but so does drinking games and their fun.
