Theres another great game, called fold it, where people play the game, and what they are actually doing is looking at different enzymes and finding ways of bonding different enzymes together... something along those lines. Its been used for alot of DNA and cancer work.

That's mad awesome, I remember fold it too, and to be honest I still struggle to understand how we're doing what a computer or many computers can't do within a game :) There was also that Folding @home thin on the PS but that's lending your PS's computational power to a problem.
Anyhoo I wish more of these things were understandable to my human brain :)
