Reading books online via unisa

edited in General
I just found out that you can read any book for free online via unisa. This was a coincidence because they put this info at page b4 last in my COS3711(Advance Programming) tutorial letter so this seems like a secret mission or something.
There only way to read books online via unisa is to follow the instructions bellow.

Go to oasis.unisa.ac.za
1. Click on Library Links -> Search for Information Resources -> A-Z list of electronic resources
-> s -> Safari Business and Tech Books Online

You can either search the books you want at the top right, or you can click any category on the left side. My favorite category is "game programming' and all the books I mentioned above are available there.

  • This interests me because I am still waiting for my UNISA registration to go through, but I am unable to find the "A-Z list of electronics resources" page. I am sure it is only accessible for people registered at UNISA (it worked the same way at Wits and they use the same library catalogue software).
  • Yes I think you will need myunisa username and password to login... But there are many people who got that, even those who abandon unisa, their myunisa is still working. So try to find a boss, a friend, a sister or untie who's attending unisa.
