  • From the gameplay video I'm worried that you're suffering from difficulty creep - there were lots of fiddly jumps and control-heavy things that needed doing in all those levels. That seemed really hard. Have you tested with non-spoiled new players at all? I'm just concerned that you might be moving away from what Khumba's animations look like they're really good at - running.

Thanks for the comment dislekcia. I think we may have some difficulty creep getting in, we have tried to create a slope which increases with each level so the players gets used to how Khumba moves and the different challenges, and as you enter the last few worlds they are quite tricky.

We do need to get some fresh eyes on the game, we had some kids play it a while back in November, but since then we have done a massive amount.
  • New Trailer! :) we did some changes from when we last showed everyone at the MGSA CT meetup a few weeks back.

Thanks again everyone for the awesome feedback and crits. Its really the best thing about showing to the community is that everyone gives great, sometimes hard to swallow feedback, but its well worth standing u pin the firing line :D.

so enough rambling by a guy sitting in a barn late at night, heres the link

  • Really liked the way the game footage faded in over Khumba running, that was slick!

Now I just wanna see more state-based animation in-game and add all the particle effects for feedback.
  • Big improvement from previous, and agreed that fade-in was a great touch! Still feels slightly too long for the mid-video gameplay but that might just be my short attention span :)
  • @rumor I really like the sound, the game feels good. Most games do not present four legged animals in that fashion so that is really fresh.
  • Thanks everyone for the feedback. We are currently updating the Level Selection UI as it was very unintuitive and confusing.
