I dream a world where screenshot saturday would be called gif saturday, where loading a /r/gamedev thread would put your PC on its knees. A world where your mobile phone couldn't stop crashing and your bandwidth consumed in no time. A simple world where game trailers would just be made with GIFs <3

You've got Photoshop and you like it : Download VirtualDub+Fraps+TutosGIFs.zip 7.8MB
You don't have Photoshop : Download VirtualDub+Gimp+Fraps+TutosGIFs.zip 63MB

    I recently discovered LICEcap, and while I haven't used it yet, I can see it being really useful. :) It seems to do screen captures and saves them to GIF for you.

    Went through dozens of screencap tools for a week or so with the purpose of making animated GIFs and LICEcap is the best I found. It isn't super powerful but it does exactly what very efficiently.

    I've been using this for quite a while now, thought I had shared it here. Perhaps I just tweeted it.
