[Event] Kunjanimation 2013 - Judd Simantov presents his work from The Last of Us

Hey all,

Animation SA, IFAS, and Wits Digital Arts are hosting the KUNJANIMATION 2013 animation festival.

It is a full day of talks, screenings and exhibitions. Some of the events may be of interest to you even if you aren't an animator. You are welcome to attend only the ones that are of interest, but I don't yet have the times available (Edit: the talks and workshop times are available on the website). Email Bronwyn to indicate interest and she will keep you posted on the detailed arrangements.

Highlights:

• Judd Simantov, lead character TD (Technical Director) at Naughty Dog, will be taking us through his work on the game of the year: THE LAST OF US.
  
• Karen Botha, Visual Supervisor at Triggerfish Animation, will breaking down how the team achieved the spectacular look on South Africa's box-office hit, KHMUBA.
  
• Ray Whitcher will be giving a hands on workshop about comic creation.
