[Master Class] With Former Ubisofter and Creator of Valiant Hearts

edited in Events
I'm proud to announce that IESA along with Serious About Games and in partnership with the French Embassy and Amaze will be hosting another master class.

Join us for MASTERCLASS: Building your game studio into a business, where Yoan and Anne-Laure will discuss the economic models of mobile games, how to develop your studio from scratch as an independent corporation, and the strategies used by DigixArt's to ensure that they are successful.

Yoan Fanise spent 14 years at Ubisoft in France and Singapore where he worked on Beyond Good & Evil, King Kong, Raving Rabbids and Assassin’s Creed. After the commercial success of those titles, he was able to release one of the smallest, bravest games ever seen from a major publisher.: Valiant Hearts. In March 2015, he left Ubisoft to found Digixart Entertainment, a company dedicated to meaningful games. The first title Lost in Harmony just launched and is already a giant success with more than 2 200 000 players.

Co-founder of DigixArt Entertainment, Anne-Laure Fanise is in charge of the financial aspects of the studio. She used to work at IBM, in relation with local authorities for environmental, legal and logistic aspects. She also worked for 5 years in a non lucrative organisation which allows disabled people to have a life as normal as possible.

Entrance is free. The Masterclass will take place at the Bandwidth Barn on Tuesday 12 September from 6:30pm to 9:00pm

Please RSVP to adone@citi.org.za

If your in Joburg, fear not Yoan will be speaking at Amaze as well !
