I'm very excited to announce a master class workshop that I've organised in partnership with the Institut Francais Afrique du Sud (IFAS) and Wits School of Arts.

Making games is serious business : two international experts and French video game entrepreneurs will share their knowledge and experience on the business side of video game, based on case studies and best practices in the international market.

*Vincent Vergonjeanne is the former CEO & Co-Founder of Kobojo, a European leader in the social gaming industry. He has founded a new game studio, EVERYDAYiPLAY, specialized in mid-core gaming. Vincent is also a business angel, free-to-play consultant and a lean startup enthusiast. He will deliver a 5 hour interactive and practical workshop entitled "How to become a successful video game entrepreneur", covering all the different steps and aspects of video game entrepreneurship.

*Francis Ingrand is a videogame business veteran and entrepreneur, specialised in international distribution. He is the founder and CEO of Plug In Digital that provides distribution and publishing services to video game creators worldwide, distributing more than 200 video games. Francis is also VP International of the SNJV (French National Union of Video Game) and President of Le Game, a corporation devoted to promoting the French video game industry internationally. He will give an update on the video game French industry, international market trends and opportunities. He will also present the case study of Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan, a 2D African Fantasy Action-RPG to be launched soon on Kickstarter.

Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan is a 2D African Fantasy Action-RPG which seeks to innovate in this genre.
