Neon Highway - @francoisvn
Neon Highway is a six-way connected runner. There are 6 different lanes and you control them all at the same time. Fortunately, there are powerups that can lock a lane. If you lock all the lanes you win!
Trading Strategy - @Ramperkash
Trading strategy is a turn based game where you have to conquer a galaxy by establishing connections between different systems. Friendly systems then share resources and automatically improve themselves. Systems (or groups of them) with enough military power can take over hostile connected systems.

I misread the theme as "Connected Words", which inspired me to make a word game. Didn't get to spend as much time as I would've liked on it, but here it is.

What happens when a gentleman and a wizard don't walk into a bar?
A local two player co-op* puzzle platformer
*very doable by one player
A small little game trying to illustrate the interconnection between the worlds of the have and have nots & their futile endless conflict... also its fun to steal. Hope you enjoy this, our first Ludum Dare and 2nd attempt at making a game. Had a blast making this with my Bro. Hope you have fun trying it out.

I have no ideas how many entries were submitted in the Jam category, but either way, very pleased. Really stoked that we made the top ten in terms of humour and theme. Would personally have hoped to do a little better in terms of graphics, but get that there was a lot of stiff competition. I know I played some fantastic looking games.
How did everyone else do? I remember seeing something about This Little Piggy (quite fittingly) being way up on the overall list!

SpellChain ended #977 overall, so just a bit better than the halfway point. Considering the amount of time I spent on it, I'm happy with that score. Most importantly it really motivated me to try and do better next time.
We did some rough estimates and I think there were about 2500 total entries in this LD. Of those about 1000 were jam entries and 1500 were comp entries. Like I said those are rough, so if someone has some better numbers let us know.
And yeah, congrats to This Little Piggy, that was an impressive score!
