Sound good?
@pantsula you should! They add a lot to your skills and network as a game maker :).
@MoodyCake Essentially, people get together, talk about games, show the games they've made and ask for feedback, and just generally be social with other game makers :). The main part of the meet is structured with up to two 20 minute talks on game development orientated things, followed by three ~10 minute slots where gamemakers show off a game they are working on and ask for feedback :).After that, people mingle and play each others' games :).
I doubt many people will have thought out any coherent feedback goals for Focused Feedback, so I would think most Ludum Dare games would just be played after the meetup?
Unlesss I'm wrong? Anyone want to do focused feedback?
DO NOT GO TO KLOOF STREET! This is where google maps will send you if you type in City Varsity. City Varsity has moved to the new location, Kloof street will get you nothing but tears.
For folks struggling to find City Varsity on Google Maps, it's near the bottom of Roeland Street close to parliament and in the building that used to house Charly's Bakery.
Charly's is still visible on Street View next to the panel shop if you type in 8 Roeland Street (the nearest approximation) and go down to Street View: https://goo.gl/maps/KvUhR
Everyone - secure parking situation at the venue?
So @dislekcia Keen to do your excellently timed talk? :)
