Make a FAQ video commentary! Do a "montage" of local indie games and have someone doing a simple break-down of everything in the FAQ section. If they don't want to read, then look at pictures and listen :)
It needs a short simple name to emphasize that its about making games, and not a forum FAQ.
On the home page, there's that link that says "Learn: How do you get into game making. What's it all about.", which takes you to the FAQ. I clicked that and read it the first time visited this site, because that's exactly what I came here to find out.
It was a while before I clicked the actual FAQ link, because I expected it to be typical forum "How do I make a post?", "What is BB code?", "How do I change my avatar?" rubbish. I actually didn't expect it to link to the awesome intro to making games that I'd read before.
