[Prototype] A Pursuit for Urban Diction
Hey all!
I rapidly prototyped an Urban Dictionary Quiz game last week! Jakub Koziol told me there was an Urban Dictionary API at A MAZE Berlin, and my idea went from there. Throwing it up here just for giggles, I guess.

Z X C V represent each of word options
At the moment, there are about 50 questions, curated rather than drawn from the API.
It's really hard. This is just the nature of the words that come from Urban Dictionary. I added a lives/guesses system to offset the difficulty a little bit.
I playtested this recently with a 4 button custom controller and it went rather well! It's challenging difficulty actually seems to be popular, because the difficulty is kinda objective? Players came back throughout the night to see if they could get further and further - which is exactly what you want in a party game!
I'll probably add more content for the next Glitch Face party + make a 4 player controller party version in the future.
