Anyone got any talks they want to give?! Let 'em at us!
@AngryMoose suggested a way to get the community benefiting from our veterans' knowledge through a sort of Q&A session. Over the next few months we'll periodically get one of our veterans to explain their background a bit and then we'll do a Q&A session with them. I really think this will be a hyper valuable experience as it's in a context that will allow us to leach knowledge.
We'll get folks like @AngryMoose, @mattbenic and Judd Simantov (hopefully will chat to him soon) to do these sort of sessions. What ya'll think?
Just to be clear, the "formal" meeting content will start at 19h00 and not 18h30 now, correct?
Yup, official content will only start at 7 now.
@LexAquillia Cool! :D
@subjectZero Knew I forgot something! Updated now :).
i really enjoyed last nights meeting.
I just wanted to find out where i can get details about that unity workshop that was mentioned. i would really like to attend that.
Had a smaller turnout, but that was the choice we made to have a more core-focused agenda.
Well done to everyone who brought games - there was some great stuff ready for testing :D.
Also, thanks to @AngryMoose for his Q&A session, was highly informative and valuable!
Note: gonna announce the next playtest meet in the next couple days :).
I didn't mind the smaller turnout, I think it's encouraging that we are focusing on what matters and not how many people. Chatting about and putting "industry" in focus is really great, and more of that is needed.
I just gotta remind myself and everyone else - make your own deadlines a day before and never the day of :)
